Kyoto University Industrial Day

“Kyoto University Industrial Day” is event series held by KURA aiming to create the Industry-Academia collaboration by offering the opportunity for early career researchers from Kyoto University, companies and governmental institutions to meet up with them.
In mid 2010s, the Graduate School of Engineering had hosted the “Tech Connect” event series for briefing on new technologies from Kyoto University, and since 2018 academic year, to extend and tighten the relationship between Kyoto University researchers, companies and administrative offices, KURA joined to this network and renewed this series as “Industrial Day.”
Refurbished “Industrial Day” is theme-oriented event. Every event sets the specific theme picked up from wide-ranged research fields, and holds seminars, pitch presentations and poster sessions.
Nowadays, due to the Covid-19 situation, “Industrial Day” is open to not only in face-to-face venues but also in online space. For upcoming events, please check the KURA web site event page.
