On October 1, Kyoto University Research Administration Office (KURA) was reorganized and newly started as Kyoto University Research Administration Center (KURA) under the new leadership of Dr. Fuyuki Ishikawa, Director of KURA.
In addition to Science and Engineering Division, Medical and Life Sciences Division and Humanities and Social Sciences Division, the new center established Research Management and Human Resource Development Division and Interdisciplinary Research Development Division.
We will develop a system to foster highly specialized URA personnel, and promote interdisciplinary research, strengthen research capabilities, facilitate internationalization of research, and further strengthen industry-government-academia collaboration and the planning of university management strategies.
Furthermore, as a center for the production of highly specialized human resources, we will contribute to strengthen Japan’s research capabilities.
