International Researchers Support Team of Kyoto University Research Administration Office (KURA) held an online seminar about KAKENHI, JSPS’s Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, titled “FY2023 KAKENHI Seminar” in English on August 5, 2022. 27 people (including 14 researchers) participated in the event.
In the beginning, OYAMADA Aya gave a presentation on KURA’s Application Support for KAKENHI, the application schedule and changes for the FY2023, and points to be considered when preparing the application form.
In the Q&A that followed, participating researchers asked questions about KURA’s Application Support, etc. and the event became a meaningful opportunity for the researchers who attended.
This event was moderated by OYAMADA Aya, and SASAKI Yu, SAITO Chisato, SUGAI Yoshinori and UEMURA Ayana supported the planning and operation of the event.
The purposes of this event were to provide updated information in this fiscal year to researchers who are planning to apply for KAKENHI and encourage them to apply for the Program.
KURA will continue to make efforts to create an environment for international researchers to maximize their research capabilities through supporting research.
