What made you decide to become a URA?

I got interested in URA as I was finishing my Ph.D thesis, an ideal job where I can make use of skills and lessons learnt during my time in Sudan and Europe (France in particular).

Additional comments

I have a great interest in Africa and have stayed in many countries such as Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Madagascar, and, in particular, Sudan. I spent several seasons working on the excavations of ancient temples related to the kingdom of Meroe. My favorite Arabic word is "Insha'Allah".
